October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month

By October 2, 2009

Follow me on:

It's that time again -- October is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, and October 15th in particular is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. As a result, this is the time of year when local miscarriage support groups put together their annual Walks to Remember and other awareness activities, usually on weekends throughout October

Want to get involved? Watch your local newspaper for announcements of any related events in your area. Unfortunately, these walks are often not heavily publicized, but you can also find information directly from regional support groups such as SHARE Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support. And of course, if you know of an event going on in your area and want to spread the word, post the information here.
