Coping with a miscarriage is no small task. Everyone handles grief differently, but don't be surprised if you never truly feel "over" your loss. It will get easier with time, but the memory of your experience will be with you forever.
Some women find it cathartic to find a special way to honor their babies after a miscarriage. This might be wearing a special piece of miscarriage jewelry or planting a tree in a state forest, or even something as simple as giving the baby a name. Whatever you choose to do to memorialize your baby should be something meaningful to you and your partner. Don't feel silly if you do feel you want to honor your baby. Remember that most people grieve lost loved ones by holding a funeral, and most of the time in a miscarriage there is no baby to bury, but you can find an alternate means of accomplishing the same thing.
